United Wolves AFC

Register to play

Registration for the 2027 season opens on PlayFootball closer to the season. Register your interest now and the club will contact you when it opens. You do not need a team, and you do not need to know anyone here.

Four steps

  1. Open PlayFootball and find the club

Registration for NSW football runs through PlayFootball, Football Australia’s registration site. Sign in or create a Football Account, then choose United Wolves Amateur Football Club, the club’s registered name.

  2. Choose your age group

Select the team that matches your age and the football you want to play. If you are unsure, pick the closest and tell your coach. Moving between squads before the season starts is routine.

  3. Pay the season fee

Fees cover association and competition fees, insurance, referees, and your playing kit. Payment is taken inside PlayFootball.

  4. Turn up to training

Training is at the University of Wollongong. Bring boots, shin pads and a water bottle. The club provides your playing kit.

Fees and dates

Fees are set with the association each season and published here before registration opens.

Common questions

Can I register on my own, without knowing anyone?
Yes. Plenty of our players joined without knowing anyone, and plenty came along with friends. Either way you register individually on PlayFootball and are placed into a squad before the season starts.
What standard do I need to be?
We field teams across a range of grades, so there is usually a level that fits. Plenty of people join after years away from the game, so not having played since school is fine.
How much does it cost?
Fees are set each season and published here before registration opens. They cover association fees, insurance, referees, and playing kit.
When and where is training?
Training is at the University of Wollongong, and weekend home games are at Beaton Park. Training nights vary by team and are confirmed once squads are set.
What do I need to bring to my first session?
Boots, shin pads, and a water bottle. The club provides playing kit once you are registered.
I am coming back after an injury or a long break. Is that a problem?
No. Tell your coach at your first session so they can manage your load sensibly. Plenty of our players are in exactly that position.

Still not sure?

Email the committee. No question is too basic.
